Clubhouse parties are the other staple — HOA clubhouses from Ladera Ranch to Tustin Ranch have exactly the 8-by-10 corner and dedicated outlet we ask for, and most have hosted us before.
OC quirks worth planning for
Coastal evening marine layer is real: for beach-adjacent parties in Newport or San Clemente, we bring the canopy regardless of forecast, because a damp patch menu helps no one. Inland summer afternoons run hot — Anaheim Hills and Fullerton hosts should think evening bars, which conveniently photograph better anyway.
